A new project has come to me from Andrew Doulton. I first met Andrew when I designed a site for his self storage company in Exeter – www.crownstorage.com – this site still exists now. Andrew moved to Lock and Leave in Wandsworth, London and immediately set to work improving their website – I’m proud to say that he was happy to involve us a second time. The website – www.lockandleave.co.uk – has been initially set up to be quite simple and minimalist, but it is proving very hard to compete in Google with such little content – not to mention the big boys spending vast amounts on PPC etc. However, despite the world of Self Storage and business storage in London being rather cut-throat, we are hoping to shine through with a simple, clean website in true TPF style. Watch this space.
In addition, I have set up a Flickr account for Lock and Leave self storage to investigate the idea of indexing, searchable images etc with good photos and tagging etc – the account is here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/47409085@N07/ – check it out! I will be watching to see how well the account works for indexing.
