TAG Rugby Trust Website

I have been involved with the Tag Rugby Trust ever since I toured with them to India in 2008 and it changed my life – I honestly mean that. It certainly changed my approach to Rugby and enriched my interpretation of just what it can achieve, specifically in developing countries like India. I cannot remember just what order it all happened in, but in 2008 I went to Kolkata with the TRT (then the TRDT) and met Paul Walsh – who introduced me to Abhi and others. I came to know the fantastic Jungle Crows, Future Hope school and of course Salien Tudu ….. the rest is history.

RISAL go live in the Kingdom

So – the site was very old and pretty awful, there was absolutely no META info and the coding was very bloated with a lot of inline css … plenty for me to work on. I decided to start from scratch and work on a Wordpress platform for the news section as they had requested the ability to update this part themselves. I have recently done a couple of builds completely on WP and I think I will move this over in a few months just to make all editing easier.

I work with small businesses every day, to help them build an online presence. A simple one page website, tied in to a co-ordinated social media presence need not cost the earth, but it really is worth doing well – contact me for more information.

Rugby Uncle gathers momentum

My move to the Middle East in 2007 rekindled my love of playing rugby – as my body is incapable of doing so at anything less than 35 degrees heat – and this trip to India, along with tales from the Philippines and Indonesia relayed by my team mates in Dubai, bought back to me just how important rugby was for me when I was a young teenager – and I wanted to give something back. This is what Rugby Uncle is all about, for me.
